Amy Cure collected her 10th individual world championships medal of her career with bronze at in the omnium at the UCI Track World Championships in Hong Kong, in what is a strong sign for her ambitions in the event.

Cure went into the final points race tied on 112 points with Great Britain’s Kate Archibald.

Archibald scored points in four of the intermediate sprints, including the final one, to ensure her victory with 123 points, with Cure and the Netherlands’ Kirsten Wild tied at 115 points.
